Brianna has been a member of GCJGSF for three years! In that time, she has not only honed her golf skills, but she was the recipient of the 2020 Willie Horton Sr. Award, which is only given to one GCJGSF member annually that demonstrates their ability to contribute to their community and show dedication to learning the game of golf. Additionally, she received the 2020 Lowest Handicap for girls in her division, and has been a dedicated member of the Beaumont Girls Golf Team.
As a graduating senior, Brianna will be the first GCJGSF member to receive the Program Excellence Scholarship. This award goes to a member who demonstrates excellence in the game of golf. When asked how has GCJGSF impacted her, Brianna said,
" GCJGSf has impacted my life by having the opportunity to learn golf which I never thought that I would enjoy playing. It has also impacted my life by getting me prepared to play on my school golf team and how golf can be a lesson for my future.
Brianna has already given back to the organization by volunteering at our LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Renee Powell recruitment clinic and being a speaker at our inaugural Career Fair at Tri-C Eastern Campus.
Her future goal is "to go to Nova Southeastern University and receive her B.S. in Psychology. She will then use this degree to become a pediatric psychiatrist." We will miss Brianna's infectious smile, and have no doubt that she will excel in this next phase of her life!
